It was the 31st October, Halloween, and like many others that night, Samuel Batty had decided to hold a Halloween party for his friends, family and neighbours. It was to be costume party with everyone dressing up as ghouls, ghosts, vampires and other scary creatures. On the surface, everyone appeared to be having a good time, however the evening was about to conjure up more suspense and horror than anyone had predicted when a few hours into the party, one of the guests was found dead. The police were called and Detective Inspector Sammer was soon on the scene, faced with yet another murder case. While the police were going about their business, the guests all set about trying to solve the murder to exonerate their names, but what other sinister motives were going on underneath the surface? Only one thing is for sure, nothing is what it seems and as the Halloween night draws closer to midnight, who knows what other horrors will emerge! What secrets were people hiding, who would resort to murder to keep those secrets hidden and more importantly, can Detective Inspector Sammer bring another killer to justice? All will be revealed...

Had a fantastic halloween party using this game. All the guest were really enthusiastic taking on the scandalous back stories of their characters. There was always something going on within the game which meant nobody was left doing nothing at any point. All my guest left saying they had had a brilliant night and were looking forward to doing another murder mystery in the future. Ely (2016)
We played last Saturday evening and to be honest we were a bit disappointed. I was in touch with you guys to confirm the use of money in the game and who a character was (note, your response was speedy and very helpful, which was much appreciated). The money was for the purpose of bribing other guests for info, but this just seemed odd and there was no incentive for characters to talk for the fake money. Also the character I questioned turned out to be one of many typos in the lengthy document. In addition the character info packs were very long and most guests weren't able to retain the amount of info and had to refer to their packs and this interrupted the flow a lot. Info within the packs didn't always match up with what other characters knew/ believed was true to their character.Anon (2015)
Haven't played the game yet, but the host's instructions suggest name tags for the participants - but there are none provided in the pack. No idea what the "Murder Cards" are for. Otherwise looks like fun.Anon (2015)
We really enjoyed playing this game! There was a lot going on the whole evening so nobody got bored, and there are plenty of scandalous stories to get to the bottom of! It was a little bit difficult to fit in all of the secret tasks and monetary transactions (we didn't really bother with the latter), but the game worked perfectly well in any case. I would definitely recommend it!Anon (2013)
