HELLO!
We’re Tim and Lynda, a married couple from north Cambridgeshire, UK and we’ve been writing and selling original murder mystery games since 2004.



We sell the kind of games you can host in your own home, where you and your friends dress up to solve a murder. Our games are meant for casual players and designed to be funny, with eccentric characters, punny names, and silly jokes. We also try to make them as easy to host and play as possible (but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re easy to solve)!

Apart from party games, we also sell date night murder mysteries you can play with your other half, case files murder mystery games you can solve at any time, and murder mystery plays you can stage in your living room. We also make spooky video games as D’Avekki Studios, so if that interests you please look them up!

It should go without saying that all of our games are 100% original and written by us. We absolutely do not use AI and have been really disheartened to see so many poorly written AI-generated games flood the market recently. All we can say is our games have been enjoyed by tens of thousands of hosts and their friends over the years, so if you want to throw a murder mystery with anywhere from 3 to 20 guests you can trust us with your party!

OUR STORY
We hosted our first murder mystery party in 1997. It must have had a big impact because seven years later, we approached BV Leisure to pitch the concept of adding DVD films and music CDs to their hugely successful range of Murder Mystery Party games (which previously only included audio cassettes). Not only did they think it was a great idea, they commissioned us to write and film the next 14 games for them!

These DVD-enhanced games sold thousands of copies in high street stores such as John Lewis, Debenhams, Argos, Toys R Us, and WHSmiths, and were so popular that the second best-selling brand quickly followed suit. Sadly, BV Leisure closed in 2009 but we'll always be grateful for the amazing opportunity they gave us.

In 2012, after seeing too many hosts struggle with unpredictable guest numbers, we developed a new flexible format called 'Murder Mystery Flexi Party', which meant the party could go ahead as planned even if someone dropped out at the last minute. It was a huge success, with Murder at the Manor becoming our bestselling game. Then in 2021 we introduced 'Murderous Decisions' - an even more flexible system that lets you easily add extra players!
